A day of thanks, a day of giving
Can be found in each day of living

An article in National Geographic several years ago provided a penetrating picture of the Divine Wings.

".... After a forest fire in Yellowstone National Park, forest rangers began their trek up a mountain to assess the inferno's damage.

One ranger found a bird literally petrified in ashes, perched statuesquely on the ground at the base of a tree.

Somewhat sickened by the eerie sight, he knocked the bird over with a stick.

When he gently struck it, three tiny chicks scurried from under their dead mother's wings.

The loving mother, keenly aware of impending disaster, had carried her offspring to the base of the tree and had gathered them under her wings, instinctively knowing that the toxic smoke would rise.

She could have flown to safety but had refused to abandon her babies.

Then the blaze had arrived and the heat had scorched her small body, but the mother had remained steadfast.

Because she had been willing to die, so that those under the cover of her wings would live...."

It is said that the DIVINE will cover you with his feathers, and under his WINGS you will find refuge.

So how do these DIVINE WINGS relate with the Z-WINGS ?

The spirit of Z-WINGS teaches us to SPREAD Zarathustra's message of Good thoughts, Good words and Good deeds with love and light, not use them to shred others with shove and fight.

And that comes when we truly understand that:
Two OPPOSITE entities DO NOT have to become OPPOSING Forces

They may be diametrically opposite, but they are still both ..... a part of the same Circle of Life.

Now, it is said that the efficiency of a machine is increased by reducing the losses, most of which is caused by friction.

Likewise, the efficiency of the human body can be improved by minimizing the friction in our life because friction depletes the valuable energy from our body, mind, and spirit.

Somehow, we live in an era where the machine efficiency is maximizing while the human efficiency is minimizing.

In other words, we are minimizing machine loss and maximizing human loss (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual)

We do not realize that we lose our own peace of mind, when we give others a piece of our mind.

One of the ways to minimize friction and improve the human efficiency is through the use of humor in our life.

Humor, in which we can laugh with people, not at people.

I was told that it takes 72 muscles to frown, 14 to Smile.

Life is easy when we are smiling and that's why everyone smiles in the same language.

I like to share this story, which I think will bring a smile on your face.

Three sons left home, went out on their own and prospered.

Getting back together, they discussed the gifts they were able to give their elderly mother.

The first said, "I built a big house for our mother."

The second said, "I sent her a Mercedes with a driver."

The third smiled and said, "I've got you, both beat. You remember how Mom enjoyed reading the Bible? And you know she can't see very well. I sent her a remarkable parrot that recites the entire Bible. It took elders in the church 12 years to teach him. He's one of a kind. Mama just has to name the chapter and verse, and the parrot recites it."

Soon thereafter, Mom sent out her letters of thanks:

"Milton," she wrote to one son, "the house you built is so huge. I live in only one room, but I have to clean the whole house."

"Gerald," she wrote to another, "I am too old to travel. I stay most of the time at home, so I rarely use the Mercedes. And the driver is so rude!"

"Dearest Donald," she wrote to her third son, "you have the good sense to know what your mother likes. The chicken was delicious."
