A preschool teacher being angry
about something suddenly stood up from her chair and said:
"OK, who so ever that bum is who did this thing, I want that bum
to stand up immediately."
In a while, a little boy stood up.
And the teacher said: "Ah haa... so you are the one?"
And the little boy said: "No, Mam. I just didn't want to see YOU
stand alone."
The teacher was looking for the truth, the child
was looking for the LOVE in that truth.
We live in a society where we focus so much on the LOVE OF TRUTH that
we have completely lost touch with the TRUTH OF LOVE.
Now, I have learnt some
exceptional lessons of unconditional love and spirituality from my daughter
Anahita.
One day, when Anahita was about 17 months old, we
were sitting on the sofa, playing with some puzzles and suddenly something
happened and BOOM.... I got a whack from her.
Now, I knew that Anahita was not interested in hurting me, rather there
was something that was hurting her.
So, I hugged her, gave her a kiss, and I told her:
"Sweetheart, Baba loves Anahita, and no matter what Anahita does
in life, Baba will always love Anahita."
Then there was a moment of silence.
In about ten to fifteen seconds, she got up, she gave me a hug and she
said:
"Baba, I am so sorry for hurting you."
With Love, fear or hate, will sublimate.
Likewise, I believe that:
"God is truth, but God is also love. And unless we tell the TRUTH
IN LOVE, it is not the complete truth."
It is because "Truth tells us to focus on the facts, but love teaches
us that the truth is much more than just mere facts."
