The 14th Dalai Lama said: On
the spiritual journey, there is no map, there is only a compass.
I believe this compass of spirituality works wonders when used with unconditional
love.
It is because: LOVE TOUCHES PEOPLE AT PLACES YOU
CAN'T REACH.
The following story demonstrates this principle, so fasten your seat belts
and get ready for an exciting journey to enlightenment.
Suzy was a cute, vibrant and effervescent 4-year old, who was looking
for a playmate to play with her.
One morning, she sneaked out of the house in search of some neighborhood
playmates.
Instead, she bumped into some prison inmates doing community service.
The essence of Suzy's vibrancy got their attention to the point that these
inmates began to protect, admire and play with Suzy.
This search for playmate in an inmate started to become a regular on-going
routine for Suzy.
Their relationship grew so strong that Suzy even started walking with
them to the closeby prison.
Suzy showed them that: In her heart, they can find
a place to care.
Realizing that special Heart-2-Heart connection,
Suzy also started to build a rapport with the prison staff who in turn
would also be looking forward to seeing this bundle of LOVE
on a regular basis.
Sometimes Suzy would play ball with the inmates and sometimes she would
just quietly sit by the side of depressed playmates to brighten-up their
spirit with her unconditional
love.
Suzy truly believed in the axiom: It's your life
and you only got one. So each one reach one and teach one.
Suzy became a role model of unconditional love and spirituality not only
for the people in the jail but also for the ones in that neighborhood.
Until one day, when Suzy's world turned upside down.
Suzy had to move with her family to a different nearby town.
As a result Suzy lost her bearings of walking by herself to the jail.
But when Suzy's family realized that, they decided to give Suzy a ride
to the jail in the morning before leaving for work and pick her up in
the evening.
This made Suzy so popular among these inmates that they even started to
record the time Suzy reported for her routine social work and would get
ancy on the days Suzy got late.
As if they had become SUZY'S GUARDIAN and
she was their ANGEL.
And together they made a perfect GUARDIAN-ANGEL.
When asked: "What makes Suzy so special to
you?"
The inmates would unanimously respond: "Her
Unconditional and Non-Judgmental LOVE."
Because Suzy has taught us all that:
"We can be judged by the lessons we
have learnt, instead of the mistakes we have made."
It is said that God has a way of making things happen in exactly the way
he wants and he often uses sources you least expect.
Having said that: Who is this GOD sent SUZY?

She is a DOG .... GOD spelled backwards.
