It's in reaching out, not pointing out

Many years back, UCLA hosted the California State special Olympics in which 3200 special children were competing for the same Olympic event which champions do every four years.

In this four hundred meter race, there was this boy with down syndrome, leading the race, running as fast as he could, and suddenly something happened, and he fell..... And the rest of the kids in the race........ stopped...... and picked him up.

What a powerful synergy of reaching out. I believe there is a child in each and every one of us who is willing to reach out and touch somebody. And that child needs to be recognized instead of being criticized if you want that child to flourish.

Now, it says in my book, "Bread For The Head", that , "Our hand was designed for reaching out, not pointing out."

I have learnt this philosophy from the spirituality of the Zoroastrian faith.

The core philosophy of this religion is focused on Good thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds, through Unconditional Love and Spirituality. The prime focus is on reaching out, instead of pointing out, and the prime focus is on lighting the candle, instead of fighting the darkness. Because, we do not see the light, by fighting the darkness, we only see the light by lighting the candle, and we do not get results by pointing out, we only get results by reaching out.

Now the key here is to understand, that there is light in what you are saying, and there is light in what someone else is saying. Now we have the choice. We can choose to put these two lights together and create more light, or we can choose to put off these two lights altogether and create more fight. The choice is entirely ours. So instead of fighting things in life, focus on lighting things in life. And this will only happen when we focus on Good thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds, in each and every moment of our lives. Now the question comes, how can we incorporate the principles of Good thoughts, Good words, and Good Deeds to be able to live an unconditional and spiritual lifestyle.

This is what it says in my book, "Bread For The Head"

Good thoughts, Good words and Good deeds are truly energized

When we spread so much peace around us, there is no room for war

When we spread so much love around us, there is no room for hate

When we spread so much good around us, there is no room for evil

When we spread so much health around us, there is no room for sickness

When we spread so much light around us, there is no room for darkness

When we spread so much prosperity around us, there is no room for adversity

When we spread so much consciousness around us, there is no room for viciousness

In short, OUR HAND WAS DESIGNED FOR REACHING OUT NOT POINTING OUT.

Now, during the Vietnam war, Mother Teresa was asked, "Mother, will you march against the Vietnam war with us", and she said, "No, I wont. But if there is a march for peace, I will be there."

Likewise, I tell my daughter Anahita, "What you visualize, you will realize." The other day, she told me, "Baba Meher, that may be true, but what you criticize, will also realize." What a wonderful piece of advice.

So, I ask you to focus on what you want, because what you are for, will strengthen your consciousness, but what you are against, will strengthen your viciousness, which will eventually weaken you.

The principle of Kinesiology clearly demonstrates that the emotion of hate creates an "instant weakening" in your body.

And, it is important to understand, that if we continue to hate either ourselves or others, then this "instant weakening" eventually becomes "constant weakening", what we call:

DISEASE ( DIS- association from EASE)

What you harvest in your mind, will manifest in your body.

What you affirm in your spirit, will confirm in your body.

Thus it is important to exercise Good thoughts, Good words, and Good deeds in each and every moment of our lives.

God Bless You ALL and let us focus on towards that best light, instead of towards that best fight.

BE the LIGHT and the shadow will stay out of your SIGHT

That is truly the essence of Z-SPIRIT
