Z-ENLIGHTENMENT
Its in transforming shove & fight into love & light

Many times in life I get to talk about this philosophy but don't get a lot of opportunities to actually walk the talk and walk the walk.

The other day I was at a card shop looking for a nice birthday card for my daughter.

While I was going through some cards I heard a voice from behind.

"How long are you going to stand there and read, why don't you take them home and read them, just get out of my way."

I turned around and saw an elderly gentleman.

I apologized for being a BOTHER and cleared his path.

Within less than a minute he said:

"I cant find any SH_ _ over here for my son," and he moved to search for I T on the adjacent rack.

Now, I come from a generation where elders are honored and revered in high esteem irrespective of their behavior.

But, I wanted to go the extra mile...

I wanted to see if I could change the dimension of his consciousness from an attitude of shove and fight into a latitude of love and light.

I asked for divine guidance and an instant thought came to mind.

Instead of scanning cards for my DAUGHTER, I decided to find some good ones for his SON

I found four which I liked.

I walked up to the gentleman who so far not being able to locate a single card was still quite frustrated.

I said: "Here are some good cards for you to choose from for your son."

The man instantly beamed up.

With a smile on his face he said: "Thank You but my son is 51-years old."

And I said: "Well, that may be true but he is still your son and he will always be your little boy."

At that time there was a moment of absolute silence.

With his eyes welled up he said: "Yes, you are right."

He examined all four cards, chose one, gave me back the remaining three and said:

"Thank You BROTHER."

And in my heart I said: "Thank you God for the blessing of love and light."

A blessing that transformed a BOTHER into a BROTHER.

It is vital to note that even when two people are at different ends of the spectrum, they still both belong to the same spectrum.

And, it is the essence of this B-longing that culminates the longing for BROTHERHOOD in humanity.

I will leave you with this story to ponder on:

A sculptor was asked how he carved a lion's head out of a large block of marble.

To which he replied:

I just chip up everything that does not look like a lion's head.

Likewise, the Master Sculptor shapes us all in the same fashion.

Even though each one of us is unique, all of us are still created in His image because He never runs out of creative ideas.

We are all transformed into ENLIGHTENED BEINGS OF LOVE AND LIGHT.

Let us use our gift of life to transform shove and fight into love and light.
