Solid Editing .. Extrude Faces

Extrude Faces by specifying height and a tapered angle.

Create a BOX as shown in Figure 1
Command: _box
Specify corner of box or [CEnter] <0,0,0>: Pick a point
Specify corner or [Cube/Length]:L
Specify length: 7
Specify width: 5
Specify height: 6

EXTRUDE the top face by height of 1 unit and taper angle 15°as shown in 2D Wireframe in Figure 3 and Gouraud Shaded in Figure 4
Invoke Extrude Faces (Modify menu > Solids Editing > Extrude Faces).
Command: _solidedit
Solids editing automatic checking: SOLIDCHECK=1
Enter a solids editing option [Face/Edge/Body/Undo/eXit] <eXit>: _face
Enter a face editing option
[Extrude/Move/Rotate/Offset/Taper/Delete/Copy/coLor/Undo/eXit] <eXit>: _extrude
Select faces or [Undo/Remove]: Click on top face as shown on Figure 2
Select faces or [Undo/Remove/ALL]:Enter
Specify height of extrusion or [Path]: 1
Specify angle of taper for extrusion <0>: 15

EXTRUDE the top face again by height of 2 unit and taper angle 30°as shown in 2D Wireframe in Figure 6 and Gouraud Shaded in Figure 7
Invoke Extrude Faces (Modify menu > Solids Editing > Extrude Faces)

EXTRUDE the top face to create a hole by height of - 10 (negative) unit and taper angle 0°as shown in 2D Wireframe in Figure 9 and Gouraud Shaded in Figure 10
